Our Fundraisers

At The Astaris Foundation for Change, we run community projects that bring warmth, dignity, and support to those who need it most. Every donation goes directly into our work- whether that's providing essential kits for the homeless community or building a sustainable hub where people can access therapy, food and a safe space to heal.

 

Winter Warmth Kits- Target £650

This winter, we are raising £650 to create and distribute Winter Warmth Kits for Halifax's homeless community. Each kit contains essential items such as gloves, socks, scarves, a tent, insulated ground mat, sleeping bag, rain poncho and camping light. Essentials that make a big difference when you're facing the cold. 

Every £65 helps us create a full kit. Our first pilot fundraiser aims to create 10 full kits to be given directly to the homeless community in Halifax town center. Together we can keep people safe and supported through the harsh winter months.

Patreon- Help Us Build Our Community Hub

Alongside our seasonal projects, we are building something long-term: The Astaris Hub, a safe space where people can access long-term therapy, therapy style courses, independence workshops, food, essential items and community care. 

To make this sustainable, we are inviting supporters to become monthly donors via Patreon. From just £3 a month, you'll be helping us cover the build and running costs of the hub and expansion of the services we can offer.  A one of donation off £3 is available through our Patreon if you'd like to help but cannot give monthly.
